Bio
Joanne Suyon Kim is a photographer, videographer, and educator based in Northern Arizona. She works in photojournalism, documentary, commercial, and editorial photography.
Her work has been published at Capital and Main, Newsweek, and The Nation.
She also facilitates photography projects working with marginalized people to tell their stories through the arts and photography. Projects include working with youth and young adults in the West Bank, Palestine, youth orphaned by AIDS in Mozambique, low-income and homeless teens in California, teens and young adults who've experienced cancer, and youth in Hong Kong.
