Joanne Kim is a photographer, videographer, and educator based in Los Angeles, CA. She works in photojournalism, documentary, commercial, and editorial.
Her work has been published at Capital and Main, Newsweek, and The Nation.
She also works with marginalized communities to tell their stories through the arts and photography. Projects include working with youth and young adults in Palestine, young people orphaned by AIDS in Mozambique, low-income and homeless teens in California, teens and young adults who've experienced cancer, and youth in Hong Kong.
